Our students’ achievements were celebrated at the School’s Annual Speech Day held on Friday, 8th July. During the day students were recognised for their attainment and determination both academically and in the wider curriculum.

Parents, friends and students were entertained throughout the morning by musicians and singers representing all age groups, while a photographic review of the academic year certainly highlighting the diversity of activities which our students enjoyed.

There was a real sense of delight as our prize winners were announced, and we congratulate not only those who were given awards, but also all of our students for their diligence and enthusiasm throughout the academic year.

We were also pleased to announce the school's sponsored charity, Action Aid, for the coming academic year with a representative from the organisation giving an informative speech thanking the greater school community for its support.

We would like to thank all those who contributed to making Speech Day such a memorable day for our students and will look forward to seeing you all when we return for the academic year 2011/12.
