There have been a number of developments in the Music Department under the new Director of Music, Mr Nicholas McKie. The Music Department have designed their own record label and joined a UK based online music resource, which allows students to have their own web page and record and upload music to their own designated area. Students can also listen to other young people's music from across the world and leave messages and write blogs for different artists. We are the first school in China and one of only a handful of International Schools globally to join this exciting project.

Performance opportunities are also increasing across the school.  We are introducing a lunchtime cafe performance platform every Tuesday lunchtime to showcase our exciting musical talent. We are also planning to launch a Pavilion performance slot outside of the music rooms at school. 

Also starting are our Junior and Senior Choirs, BSG orchestra in the coming weeks, and our unique PIMS music scheme.
