The last academic year saw an exceptional effort from our EFC team to raise money for the British school and the worthy causes we support.  

Over 100,000RMB has been collected over the year from events held at BSG, and this is all credit to the EFC, whose great ideas and organisation have provided several fun, family-orientated days at the school, including the Easter Fayre, Summer Carnival and Comic Relief.

50,000RMB has been put towards brand new playground equipment for children on the upper school campus. 10,000RMB of the money raised will provide similar equipment for lower school children.

The rest will be divided between the causes that we support, such as GUA Africa, as well as our continuing sponsorship of two underprivileged children through the charity, Coleurs de Chine.

We owe a huge thank you to the EFC, whose brilliant support is an essential asset to our development and reputation as one of the best international schools in Asia. In particular, a big thank you to Lisa Vaughan and Alison Haigh-Small, who have been terrific team leaders over the year.
