Hansel and GretelKey Stage One (Years One and Two) joined together to perform for the evening. From narrators to furry woodland creatures, wicked witches to dancing fairies, everyone was involved in the performance. Key Stage One told the story of how the nasty step mother drove Hansel and Gretel out into the woods never to return. |
Furry Woodland CreaturesHansel and Gretel encountered many characters in their adventures, from talking rabbits to fairies and a few animals that wanted to eat them up. After getting caught by the witch but then tricking her into the oven instead, the children were to be reunited with their father minus the evil step mother. |
Little Red Riding HoodKey Stage Two (Years Three to Five) then took to the stage to showcase Little Red Riding Hood for us. Again, all the children took part in a huge variety of rolls to tell us how on the way to Grandma's cottage Little Red Riding Hood encountered The Big Bad Wolf. |
Eating Poor Old GrandmaAfter beating Little Red Riding Hood to Grandma's cottage, the wolf then gobbled Grandma up and waited. The wolf tried to eat Little Red Riding Hood up also but then came the surprise ending where she suddenly pulled out a pistol and shot the wolf. Grandma was rescued and all (except the wolf) were happy. |
