BSG is a privileged environment and its pupils are encouraged to gain an understanding of the situation of others. So opportunities for community service are fostered within the school and build into the PSHE curriculum.

Fund raising events for specific causes or charitable organisations are held at the school several times a year involving pupils from throughout the school, staff and parents. The school also regularly donates funds and materials to the underprivileged and our Fundraising and Events Committee are extremely active in helping raise awareness of poverty among the members of the school.
